The Xiaomi Walkie-talkie 2S is an analog device. It can communicate with other walkie-talkies with analog signal modes and adjustable amateur radio frequency bands (430~440 MHz).
How to communicate with other Mi Walkie-Talkies:
The factory preset channels correspond with the long-range channels on other Mi Walkie-Talkies.
- 2.How do I use the batch configuration function?
Use one Xiaomi Walkie-talkie 2S to initiate the configuration and the other Xiaomi Walkie-talkie 2S to receive the configuration, to quickly synchronize all channel information with multiple walkie-talkies.
- Initiate: First press and hold the volume + button, then press and hold the call button for 3 seconds.
- Receive: First press and hold the volume - button, then press and hold the call button for 3 seconds.
Note: Do not use multiple radios to simultaneously initiate the configuration in a batch configuration process in order to avoid confusion.
- 3.Is batch configuration supported between the Xiaomi Walkie-Talkie 2S and other walkie-talkies?
Batch configuration is only supported by the Xiaomi Walkie-Talkie 3 and the function is only available within the effective reception distance.
Note: Depending on environmental conditions, the effective reception distance is 0–10 km.

No, you don't need to activate it before use.

- Except for specially adapted Bluetooth headsets, you still need to press and hold the PTT button on the walkie-talkie when using normal Bluetooth headsets to speak.
